Slated already are appearances at the Peace & Love Festival in Sweden and the Rokslide Festival in Denmark. They are booked in to do shows in Italy, Austria, Germany and Great Britain. Currently promoting their newly released album, ".e Around Sundown", this is the fifth album for the Followill family band. Consisting of three brothers and a cousin, the boys are the sons of a Southern USA minister. Born in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, also the hometown of world-famous fiddler Charlie Daniels, they spent much of their early lives traveling with their father from church to church. As a result, the guys (and their cousin) developed their skills playing music in various churches and had a good working knowledge of road life from a young age. Forming the band seemed like a logical step. Kings Of Leon scored their record deal while living in Nashville. They are clearly influenced by southern American culture and have parlayed the influence into a successful mainstream musical career. Their first album, "Youth And Young Manhood," was released in 2003, followed by two subsequent albums. ".e Around Sundown" is the follow up to the highly successful "Only By The Night" (2008) for which the band won four Grammy Awards. They sold 6.5 million albums worldwide. The current album, has taken two years to produce and the tour to promote it over the next six months should prove to be the most successful in the band’s history. This latest album release by Kings Of Leon is may be their best work to date, and reveals a wider ranging musical style. It seems each album takes their musical journey a little further. The record .pany is confident fans will love it. The bands name Kings of Leon was chosen as a tribute to their father (or uncle), Leon Followill, who has been a big influence on their writing. Tickets for the Australian tour for Kings of Leon go on sale on 6 December 2010. About the Author: 相关的主题文章:
