Most of the time, they wake up with a hangover or sluggish feeling. Aside from this, it is also important to know that alcohol is a diuretic drink. This means that it encourages the body to secrete more liquid, therefore, you often find yourself wanting to urinate after drinking. This can also directly disturb your sleep, thus, you cannot have quality sleep and you feel tired. How do you know if it is too much? Drinking is okay as long as you do not go overboard. There are re.mended amounts of drinks for both men and women. For men, the re.mended amount is 750 ml of drinks with 4% alcohol content while for women, the re.mended amount is 175 ml of drinks with 13% alcohol content. Exceeding the mentioned amounts can have great effects in your sleep. Drinking should always be in moderation. Aside from making you feel tired, drinking also has other bad effects for the body. The most serious effect is liver malfunction. The liver is the main organ in the body that deals with alcohol. Too much alcohol can overwork the liver and can even damage it in the long run. Being drunk, on the other hand, can make a person have blurred vision and slurred speech. It can also affect the body’s coordination and balance as alcohol usually affects the central nervous system’s way of processing information from sensory organs.
